We are pleased to unveil a refreshed ReelLearning for 2014. As from today our community will benefit from a number of improved features, including greater ability to share and comment on playlists and content.
You’ll also have access to an additional hour of brand new, bite-sized clips into the ReelLearning video bank. Over the next few weeks we’ll be highlighting these new features through the blog, and giving you tips and advice on how to get the most out of ReelLearning.
We’re delighted that the new content features a series of clips from an exclusive interview with Professor Mick Waters. As Director of Curriculum at the QCA from 2005-2009, Mick has been instrumental in the direction of teaching and learning in the UK. Our interview explores Mick’s views on the new National Curriculum, and how schools now have an opportunity to do things differently.
This month why not check out ‘Implications of the new National Curriculum’ – Mick Waters challenges us to think about what the new curriculum means for schools. He reflects, “The real challenge for our schools is to say what do we want for our children, what do they need from us as a school that fits into their community… and how do we structure it to make sense?”
Search for all of Mick’s clips by typing in Mick Waters to the ‘Search’ box in the browse clips section of the website.
As always, we’re interested to hear your feedback at ReelLearning. If you’re not already a subscriber then you can set up a free trial.
Wishing you a successful 2014,
Rebecca Bartlett Director ReelLearning
